A Very Good Frend
Part of Reed’s homework was to write sentences with his sight words. I love the second one that he wrote.

Sister-less Monday
Lena had her first brother-free playdate after school, so I hung out with my boys.

On the right, he was trying to climb up the teether ball pole. Of course.
They spent some time throwing hedge apples down the slides.
And going down the slide backwards, then laughing hysterically.
What Happens at Naptime
Gus is the only one who still takes a nap here. Well, except for Aaron, he often tries to squeeze one in, too. So, we all try to find quiet activities.
Reed and Lena picked Legos today.
I, on the other hand, snuck off to the beach today.
Yes, an actual beach.
Okay, okay, a gigantic sandbar, which stretches far across the river.
We do have shells, though.
And sea gulls.
And totally crazy dogs.
