It was 18 degrees (Fahrenheit for my International readers) when I got up this morning. A high of 37 degrees. Hello, winter.
Yet, after school, I still heard “Mama, can I play with [my friend]?”
And I said yes! Clearly, I’ve lost my mind.
Actually, this girl, who seemed to love being out in the cold, may have lost her mind. Or found her Ukrainian heritage.
Carrying all of his stuff and Lena’s stuff. What a gentleman!
Today was just a rainy Monday. The temperature started off okay, but by the time I took the dogs out for a walk it was 42 degrees. No thank you. I know it’s only going to get colder, but I am definitely not a cold weather person.
That being said, I love the way that leaves look with rain on them.
We also saw this guy out for his own walk.
In unrelated news, school conferences were last week and since I was out of town, I just had Lena’s today. Both kids are doing really well in school. No major concerns. Both of their teachers are great.
Lena also lost her last double tooth today. I will have to try to remember to take a picture tomorrow.
We didn’t do much today. I took the dogs for a walk, in one of my favorite spots.
If that looks weird, it’s because it’s actually a reflection in water.
