Ready?

We received our first adoption travel dates on New Year’s Eve.

from our first adoption

Aaron and I will be traveling to Ukraine to officially get Luda’s referral at the end of January. We’re so excited! It was great to give Luda a specific date when we’ll see her again!

Like I’ve done in the past, all posts while we’re in country will be private. You will need to enter a password to read them.

I do not limit this exclusively to friends and family, but I do need to know who is reading. If you’d like the password, please leave a comment and introduce yourself OR shoot me an email– my email address is at the right.

  1. I would love to keep up with your journey while you’re in-country. I’m an adoptee myself, and I love following your story. I spent 4 years working in the adoption field prior to my recent job switch

  2. Hey! I don’t comment much but I’ve been reading since before you adopted Reed and Lena, and I have loved watching your three children flourish! I would love to keep reading about Luda’s adoption!

  3. Hello! I’m a friend of tiny green elephants family. Found your blog through them years ago. Would love to keep reading. So excited for you guys. 🙂

  4. HI,

I too, have been reading since Reed and Lena came home . . .. would love to keep up with your travels.
By way of why – I am an adoptive mom of two boys – American foster care – but because the oldest’s ethnicity is Russian, I really like seeing the Eastern European regions – then I can, hopefully, make his heritage more real to him.

  5. I too would like to keep reading. I have been reading since just after you brought Gus home. We are interested in adopting, possibly from Ukraine. I am inspired by you and your dedication to helping others know more about international adoption

  12. I would love to continue to read. I am a mother to a daughter I adopted in Russia and all of these adoptions seem to take me back to the memories of her adoption.
    Thanks,
    Pat

  13. Hi! I’d love to follow along. I’ve been reading since Reed and Lena came home 🙂 i really want to adopt, but the process is somewhat difficult where I live – so I love following blogs meantime. Good luck for your travel, you must be so pleased to have the dates!

  14. Hi Molly, I can’t remember how I found your blog, but i am sure it was through the adoption community. We adopted a sibling set of 4 in 2004 from Ukraine and Ukraine is in our blood now as surely as if we ourselves grew up there. Would love to follow along with you as Luda travels home to join her family.
